See it, Touch it and Talk to it! – The Soul Pitt Quarterly (SPQ) magazine will be a first of its kind for the Pittsburgh community.  SPQ is more than a magazine, it is designed to provide a colorful interactive experience for the reader who will be able to talk, text, listen or log on to read it.  SPQ uses various services to engage its readers encouraging them to interact with its advertisements and articles. SPQ is a community mobilizer offering readers a way to share thoughts and opinions via cell phone, texting and via the internet.

The magazine’s vision and mission will be to focus on those positive people, organizations, businesses and opportunities within the region’s arts, entertainment and cultural environment in the Minority community. Its interactive component will revolutionize the way magazines are produced, distributed and read today while also being an effective tool for all of your advertising needs!

    Rock on Sista! I don’t know you but I know that God encourages us to uplift one another. I applaud and bless you and your endeavor. Know that God is always in charge and whenever storms come they are never too big for Him to handle. Again, kudos to you Sista for doing a great thing in the African American community as well as the entire city of Pittsburgh. God Bless!

Editorial Highlights

Each edition of SPQ magazine will explore the “Soulful” side of Pittsburgh and present it in a way to positively shine the light on the culture, arts, entertainment and people of Pittsburgh’s African-American community and the surrounding area.

From soulful entertainment to soulful food, SPQ will engage the reader and bring to life the people who make up the community.

Feature stories will enable readers to simply call a number from their cell phone and continue the interview as they listen in on our editors speaking with featured individuals. Text messaging platforms are in place to allow readers to send a text message to in turn receive extra information from certain advertisers via their cell phones.

We will also direct readers to the web site where they can view video clips to learn more about a particular subject or individual featured in the magazine.

The magazine will not be available online to view as we want the community to engage with this magazine and share its content with others.
